1 box bowtie pasta or spaghetti 1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes 1 small can tomato sauce 1/4 lb. ground beef Minced garlic 1 C. onion 1 C. bell pepper Basil leaves Parsley flakes Salt Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
Cook pasta as directed and set aside. Brown ground beef in olive oil. Add tomatoes, sauce, beef, garlic, onion and bell pepper. Cook approximately 30 minutes until veggies are done. Add seasonings, adding fresh basil and parsley last. Mix pasta with sauce and top with Romano grated cheese. Yield: 4 servings A chef from Philadelphia, PA
